NBTA (National Business Travel Association)Avia International Travel once again exhibited
at the 2010 NBTA Convention and Exhibit in Houston, Texas from August 8th – 11th. The 2009 Convention was truly a memorable experience and great success. We had many attendees and sponsors try their luck at our “Hole in One” Wii contest and we gave away a large Wii basket which included a Wii, Wii Fit and Wii accessories. This year was the largest NBTA conference in history. The distinguished guest speakers this year included Condoleezza Rice, Sir Richard Branson, and Lance Armstrong.

Widely recognized as the must-attend event for business travel buyers, suppliers, industry leaders and business travel journalists, the 2010 NBTA International Convention & Exposition took place in Houston August 8-11, 2010. More than 5,600 travel professionals took advantage of the Convention’s programming, designed to empower attendees to maximize value for their companies, including more than 65 seminars on the most important topics in business travel, more than 400 companies exhibiting in the Expo and countless opportunities for networking with peers.

Avia International Travel Wins Sabre’s 2010 Peak of Excellence Award

Avia International Travel received Sabre Travel Network's coveted Peak of Excellence Award, which recognizes distinction among business leaders, innovators and passionate professional within the travel agency community. Avia International Travel was selected from the many thousands of agencies in North America to receive this award because of its exemplary business leadership.

The Peak of Excellence award was accepted by Antonella Ballatori, President of Avia International Travel, on behalf of the agency. "I am honored that Avia International Travel has been recognized by Sabre as an innovative leader in the travel industry," said Ms. Ballatori. "This is the second year that Avia has won this very prestigious award. It is truly a reflection of our dedicated professionals who relentlessly strive to improve upon their high level of service through new technology and development within the travel industry."

Avia Wins BBB’s Winner of Distinction Award

Avia’s President Wins HBJ’s “40 Under 40 Award”

Avia International Travel’s President, Antonella Ballatori, was recently named by the Houston Business Journal as one of its winners of their “40 Under 40 Award”. The awards program is part of the HBJ’s annual Celebrate!Enterprise program of business events and identifies 40 young leaders who excel in their industries, are respected business leaders and show dynamic leadership in their community.
