From its inception, Avia International Travel has been committed to building long-lasting relationships with each of its clients.  Avia International Travel was founded in 1997 by Antonella Ballatori with the goal of creating a world class travel management company to serve clients with international travel needs. With its global headquarters in Houston, Texas and a European branch office in London, Avia International was well situated to achieve that goal.

The 1990’s was a period of heavy growth and change in the travel industry. Travel agencies were consolidating and airlines were in the process of eliminating commissions; and in the wake of the emergence of online reservation platforms, many in the travel industry struggled to realign and re-invent themselves. With the executive team’s vision and leadership, Avia International Travel flourished in this new environment, offering its clients negotiated airfare choices, highly qualified and experienced staff, and exceptional service.

As Avia International Travel grew, maintaining and even improving the consistency and quality of service that our clients had grown to expect from us became a primary goal. To accomplish this, we became I.S.O. (International Organization for Standardization) certified. We established consistent and proven methods, along with a system of checks and balances within each department; all designed to ensure stable and predictable growth while maintaining and improving quality. These enhancements have been a stimulus for even further growth, and a much emulated model within the travel industry.

As our success grew, so did the need to expand our global presence. With a view toward our clients’ need for local expertise, and the need to operate effectively in both national and international markets, Avia International Travel sought out a partnership with a global travel management company—a company that shared our core values of quality, innovation, commitment, and integrity. That travel management company was HRG (Hogg Robinson Group), and in 2007 Avia International became a founding member of the HRG North American affiliate program.

Our success in the international travel market is a direct result of our unwavering commitment to building successful long-lasting relationships with each and every one of our clients.  That success is demonstrated by the caliber of those clients—clients who depend on us to create and deliver programs that allow their travelers to remain focused on their business while Avia International Travel focuses on their travel.
