Antonella Ballatori
President
Antonella brings almost 20 years corporate travel management experience. She began her career with a medium sized corporate travel management company, ETS, in Houston as an international reservation agent and was quickly promoted to Operations Manager. During her 6 year career at ETS, she was responsible for staff training, account management and implementation, mid and back office accounting and travel technology. With her broad knowledge of corporate travel and thorough understanding of operating a successful travel management company, Antonella founded Avia International Travel in 1997. She currently oversees Accounting, Human Resources and Technology. Antonella is a native of Italy and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Houston.
Matthew Forestieri
C.O.O.
Matt has over 20 years of varied travel industry experience, including various operational positions at Western, American and Delta Airlines as well as management of corporate onsite offices for American Express Travel Related Services. His comprehensive experience was further enhanced when he worked as Sales Director at Alitalia Airlines in Houston, where he gained a vast knowledge of international tariffs, specifically for the oil and gas industry. This professional experienced gave him further insight on travel agency operations in relationship to airlines and negotiated airfares. Matt is extremely skilled at business development, account implementation and management, contract negotiations, international tariffs and operations. Matt is a native Houstonian and currently oversees the operations of Avia International Travel worldwide.
Vinny Khosla
VP of Operations
Vinny joined Avia International in 2000 after more than 15 years
in various operational positions with American Express. Vinny is
familiar with multiple Global Distribution Systems, back office
interfacing, operational systems and technology platforms. Vinny
holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University
of Houston and currently oversees all operational configurations
for Avia International Travel.
Lauri Mathias
Training and Quality Control Manager
Lauri joined Avia International in 1999 after more than 15 years
in the travel industry. Her experience varied from small travel
agencies to large travel management companies, working with very
large multinational clients. Her varied experience in the travel
industry enables Lauri to provide Avia International travel
counselors a training and quality control platform unparalleled
in the industry.
Paola Garza
Controller
Paola joined Avia International in 2003 as Controller and is responsible for all accounting functions worldwide. Paola is a CPA and has over 10 years experience in accounting and auditing. Paola holds an undergraduate degree in English and a masters degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio. |
